About Us

   G & I Shades opened for business in January of 1980. They specialize in commercial projects and produce customized work that is not readily available from retailers, which means all work is made to order. Their work entails manufacturing window shades, swags, valances, and a variety of other window treatments.
   Guillermo Grijalva and Ignacio Villegas created the partnership, which is now a successful company. Guillermo and Ignacio were introduced to the drapery business in their previous employment. This sparked an interest for designing and manufacturing window treatments.
   The address is 2922 West Pico Boulevard in Los Angeles. The location is out of the busy downtown L.A. and has easy access to the 10 and 110 freeways. All of the work is done inside the building.
